Trip with Moutzouris

The "living legend" stream train of Pelion, the well-known "Moutzouris" (in Greek it is translated as ‘smudgy’), starts from Ano Lechonia and crosses 15 kilometers through a dense forest to end up after about 1.30 hours at Milies village. The route passes over stone bridges and meanders through the wooded slopes of Pelion offering a rich spectacle to the visitor. The beauty of nature is truly mesmerizing. This trainroute originates from the depths of time and together with the picturesqueness and wooden decoration of the train, it gives the visitor the feeling that time has stopped and they are transported to another era. It is a very special experience that you will never forget. The picturesque stone-built Milies is definitely worth your visit, while later the same day (for those who wish) the train makes its way back.

Milies-Vizitsa-Pinakates

These are three beautiful neighboring villages that deserve your visit. They are so close to each other that it is an opportunity to visit them together. The village of Milies stands out for the Pelion train that ends there and for its picturesque railway station, while the well-known “De Chirico’s” metal bridge is just a breath away. Milies are characterized by their dense vegetation, picturesque stone-built houses and paved paths. Vizitsa is a preserved settlement and therefore stands out for its well-maintained Pelionian mansions. Here is an opportunity to admire Pelion's architecture. The cobblestone pavements, the churches and the plane trees in the center of the village square win the visitor's impressions. Finally, Pinakates is the less touristically developed village, compared to the other two, but it does not lag behind in natural beauty and picturesqueness, as the stone-built alleys, the stone-built churches and the dense vegetation with the majestic plane trees dominate the landscape.

The picturesque village squares, the traditional churches, the Pelion architecture and the cobblestone pavements make Tsagarada unique in the minds of visitors. After all, there are not a few people who, when they think of Pelion, recall this beautiful village.

Trikeri - Agia Kiriaki

Agia Kyriaki is a traditional fishing village on the southern tip of the Pelion peninsula. The aura of the village transports the visitor to another era back in time. The fish taverns on the seafront will satisfy even the most demanding palates, while the view of the harbor with the picturesque fishing boats is extremely relaxing. From Agia Kyriaki one can visit the village of Trikeri, which is located at the top of the hill. The two villages are connected by a paved path, which is worth walking as the view will compensate. From Katigiorgis to Skiathos

The port in the small fishing village of Katigiorgis, in southern Pelion, is a starting point for the Northern Sporades. It is not very well known that within 15 minutes one can go from Katigiorgis to "Koukounaries" of Skiathos, while the travel time from Platanias is also only 25 minutes. Day trips to Skopelos take place during the summer months. The journey time by water taxi to Glossa of Skopelos is approximately 45 minutes. The various water taxis that operate in Katigiorgis run routes all year round (daily in the summer), making the Northern Sporades accessible from Pelion as well. In this way, the visitor can gain a great experience not only of the beauties of Pelion but also of our beautiful Aegean islands.
